Excellent location and staff were amazing. I travel to Wodonga to visit family and have stayed at many different hotels, this one is the best. I would only stay at this hotel in the future. Very happy with everything.

Wellington Motel has not returned my $100 "security deposit". We checked out Sunday morning October 1 and today is Thursday October 5. They do not answer telephone calls on the landline shown on Booking.com
I left a messgae yesterday but $100 still not refunded. Be careful booking with Wellington Motel.

Travelling to catch up with family so a convenient location for us to stay and spend our days with the family. Beautiful Gateway Park Walk along the Murray River with spectacular sculptures depicting dreaming stories! A great activity to share with family.
Lunch at Henri's Bakery - fresh, made-on-the-spot sandwiches, delicious!

I went to Wodonga to see the Army Museum at Bandiana which was excellent! Well organised, plenty of interesting exhibits, and very helpful staff. We spent 2+hours there.
Had some extra time, so visted Lake Hume and the weir, which were very impressive.
Then called in at Bonagilla Migrant Museum, on a whim, and surprisingly found it absolutely fascinating. Plus there were hundreds of kangaroos on the grounds. We came away from Bonagilla with a new appreciation of Australia's post war migrants. A moving experience for us.
This is an older style motel, but the rooms are spacious and well equipped with lots of little extra touches like fresh milk and a power board on each side of the bed. The staff are super friendly and gave us a really good dinner recommendation at a pub within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. We thought that the shower was terrific (great water pressure), but the bed was slightly too soft for our liking. This is really good value for money!
We found the room warm but the bedding not really satisfactory - a very light Doona (more Doona cover than actual Doona) and the extra blanket provided was old, thin and torn. This didn't really fulfill our expectations for a cold night in Wodonga. I think there was an electric blanket but we are not in the habit of using these.
We also found the site very noisy on Friday night with trucks and hoons going through the roundabout.
Modern and complete with kitchen (big fridge, stove, kettle, toaster, microwave, utensils, etc)
A/C, free parking, one can park in front of the room, there is also a swimming pool.
10 minutes walking to the main shopping area of Wodonga.
This was one of the best motels I have stayed in Australia. It was quiet, comfortable and modern. It felt like a home away from home. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable accomodation in and around Wodonga.
I think it was excellent value considering its price. Access to fresh air and a private courtyard is always a bonus over the usual air-conditioned windowless box of hotel high-rises. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was very spacious and open with convenient lighting options and a nice courtyard outside. Staff were friendly and accommodated our request for thin pillows. The room was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable.
The location, the view, the amenity of the cabin. Even a log fire if you wanted. Nice and peaceful and only 10 min from Wodonga.
The owner was really friendly and helpful.
Looking forward to next visit.
Stayed here 46 years ago and it was great, been a few times since and always very confortable. It is our favourite place to stay in Albury Wodonga. We would stay again.
Clean rooms, quite place, close to a lake for a little bit of exercise in the morning. Room was comfort enough with space, good for short business trips.
